DFG funded project to provide a level access shower and improve access in the house for a wheelchair user . The project involved structural alterations to the house as the shower room was originally accessed from the kitchen. As part of the structural works we created a new 900mm door opening in the main load bearing wall between the shower room and bedroom. We had to erect dust screens as our customer was suffering from respiratory health issues. In addition to the DFG funding the family decided to pay extra to have the shower room fully tiled from floor to ceiling and upgrade the tiles from standard white tiles to bigger marble effect tiles.
Even though this was one of our more complex shower room adaptations, Trinity managed to complete the works within 15 working days.
