We always ensure that our suppliers, partners and subcontractors share our environmental aims and are equipped to help us achieve our objectives. We ask all such parties to give us appropriate credentials or commitments, through our formal supplier and subcontractor approval process, by written agreements or by their own accreditations.
In Trinity, we regularly review the products which we purchase and use, to find more cost effective and more environmentally friendly alternatives. We seek to use non-oil based products and use paints and mastics which offer lower levels of toxicity.
Here in Trinity, we consider ourselves a 'green business' and understand the importance of acting and operating in an environmentally sensitive way. We view this both as a responsibility and as a logical and practical strategy, which will attract and help us maintain quality clients. We take steps to ensure that all employees receive environmental training appropriate to their role and responsibilities.
Our business operates quite frequently in locations where dust, odours and noise can cause an environmental impact or can affect client operations, such as hospitals and medical surgeries. We also work regularly with vulnerable people, such as the elderly and infirm. Consequently, we are very aware of the social impact and of the importance of minimising these environmental conditions.
